The University of Edinburgh is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities of the United Kingdom. It boasts ground-breaking research projects that make it one of the world’s leader Centres of Excellence. It is the largest University in Scotland with more than 30,000 students. The University offers 500 courses and nearly 200 post-graduate programmes, with particular regard to interdisciplinary courses. It includes many research centres and it boasts a large international partnership with regional and global focus. The Division of European languages and Cultures (DELC) is part of the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures, which includes English literature, Scottish and Celtic literature, East Asian Studies, Islamic studies, Middle East studies and the Graduate School. The school is part of the College of Humanities and Social Science (HSS), the biggest college of the University – with over 13,500 students and 1,300 staff members.

ROLE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH WITHIN THE PROJECT

The role of the University of Edinburgh was to facilitate disseminatio of results in the UK.

It publicised the project towards the website of prof.ssa Nocentini.

In order to increase visibility of the project, a specific Facebook campaing was made to UK targeted groups.
